Miss Environment Contest - Serving People & the Environment

This Miss environment contest is an Annual event to demonstrate the value and contribution of the girl child in environment protection and sustainability. The youths and including the girl child plays a fundamental role in their communities to promote environmental sustainability through local environmental initiative, actions and environmental businesses. The aim of the Miss environment contest is to mainstreaming gender equality into environmental sustainability by promoting the environment initiatives/actions that covers the social and economic aspects which are the building pillars and components of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable Development and 17 sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) in transforming our society and creating the Future we want.

The contest is open to girls(Youth) Between the ages 17 to 24

Registration: 25 October 2020 to 25 January 2021

The environmental idea/initiative to be presented by the contestants fall under the following
• Wetlands/Oceans
• Water Hygiene and Sanitation(WASH)
• Mountains
• Wildlife conservation
• Access to Energy
• Waste management(Plastic)
• Sustainable Food Systems
• Land and soil Conservation
• Forest and Climate Change
• Environmental health and COVID 19 Recovery
• Ecotourism

ICENECDEV and partners are organizing the Miss environment contest among girls (youth) between the age 17 to 24. We will be registering 300 girls with environmental ideas as solution to protect our environmental resources (Land/Soil,Forest,Wildlife,Oceans/Seas,Air, Wetlands, Mountains, Coral reefs etc )in Africa

Miss Environment contest is annual environmental event to demonstrate the involvement, and commitment of the girls(youth) in environmental Protection, promote biodiversity conservation, social equity and Economic progress within the Context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and Africa Vision 2063.

The Prize award of the Winners of the Miss Environment are
First Prize:500,000frs($1,000)
Second prize:300,000frs($600)
Third Prize: 200,000frs($400)
Award ceremony: 6th March 2021.

The Partners and Supporters will be recognized and acknowledge publicly.The Supporters will be featured in Flyers, Brochures, advert on radio , television cross road banners and provide a slot to present their companies and products during the award ceremony.
